Upcoming and Ongoing Student Fundraisers:

  • Future Business Leaders of America – Jeans!

FBLA’s Jeans for Green Project – we collect old blue jeans to be donated for recycling. Please help us reach our goal to collect 1,000 jeans that will be diverted from landfills, where they might otherwise join the millions of pounds of textiles thrown out every year.

We partner with a local company to repurpose the jeans.  Donations can be made to Mrs. Robinson in Room I-18 or dropped off in the Main Office.

  • Looking for Honors/AP Books/Study Guides
The HOPE Club collects new and gently used materials for Honors and AP Courses. college_studying_outside.jpg
Do you or someone you love have a pile of unused study guides at home from that AP course last semester?  Did you buy the summer reading book for a class and now would like to send it to a good home?  The HOPE club is currently collecting gently used materials to create a library of resources for students who might need them.  We’ve all bought materials that we didn’t end up using or used but didn’t write all the answers in the book.
Please send these items to school with your students to drop off for Ms. Escalera-Smith in the Counseling Office or bring them into the Main Office yourself.  Go Knights!

Accident Avoidance Workshops

Accident Avoidance Workshops covers “Emergency Driving Conditions” (what to do when everything goes horribly wrong) to prepare them to survive potentially fatal accidents. Ask anyone who has taken this course for their thoughts on how effective it is, how much better their teen driver handled basic driving techniques afterward, how much more confident both parent and teen driver felt after the workshop. As an added bonus, you can receive an insurance discount for completing this defensive driving course. Sign up for an Accident Avoidance Workshop at a location near you! Be sure to mention that the Centennial PTSA as your referral, as AAW donates a portion of their proceeds from the workshops back to our school.
