Help CHS While You Shop

Everybody eats, and everybody goes to the grocery store.  Did you know that you can help fund Centennial PTSA every time you do?

Pick up your Publix grocery scan card at the PTSA membership table at orientation or at CHS’s front office.  (Cards are available in wallet or key-ring size.) Then, just remember to scan your card at the check-out.  These stores each have a generous program that donates a small percentage of your purchases to the PTSA.  Every little bit adds up . . . and goes toward important PTSA initiatives like scholarships, Mini-Grants, Student Directory, and so much more.  So if you eat, you can help!

Make Money for Your School,
the TrueBlue Way!

Everyone chooses a gas supplier too; choosing Georgia Natural Gas can benefit CHS!

By enrolling in TrueBlue Schools®, you can help raise money for CHS. That’s right, Georgia Natural Gas will donate up to $100 a year for every person in CHS’s school community who chooses GNG and CHS.  As a bonus, all TrueBlue Schools participants are eligible for a guaranteed 5¢ discount per therm by choosing the Market Advantage Plan—it’s a win-win!

Welcome to Centennial High School PTSA

Dear Centennial High School Parents,

Welcome to the Centennial High School PTSA’s website!

Whether you are a brand new parent to Centennial High School, starting your last year with your senior student, or anywhere in between, we want you to know that the PTSA is here to help support you and your students.

Centennial PTSA provides many valuable programs through your membership, generous contributions, and volunteer support, including:

  • We communicate important information to the CHS community via the PTSA website, our Facebook page, email blasts to PTSA members, and our summer and spring semester Knightly News newsletter publications.   Through these vehicles, you will be able to find out important information about CHS events, be notified in a timely manner about important announcements, keep in touch with others in the school community, etc.

  • We sponsor drug, alcohol, health and safety awareness programs to educate and enable our teens in wise decision making, such as Red Ribbon Week, Drive Safe–Drive Smart.

  • We organize CATCH (Conversations at Centennial High) breakfasts for students, offering them the opportunity to see programs with informative speakers.

  • We publish the Student Directory—available only to PTSA members—to facilitate communication within the CHS community.

  • We offer Mini Grants to CHS teachers and staff to help fund special projects which enhance the learning experience for CHS students.

  • We manage Business Partners program to facilitate the relationships between the school, PTSA and area businesses.

  • We host the Principal’s Honor Roll Breakfast each spring for qualifying students.

  • We provide volunteer staffing for the book distribution, media center, front desk, and college visits throughout the school year.

  • We provide liaisons to the Student Council Executive Committee and each class council.

  • We collect and organize the judging of CHS entries to the National PTA Reflections Program which honors students for their creative efforts.

  • We organize and staff Project Graduation for seniors and staff volunteers for the annual Senior Breakfast.

  • We provide support for Parent Information Nights and CHS’s Annual Principal’s Chat.

  • We sponsor multiple Caring & Sharing activities, organizing outreach activities to help those in need in the CHS community.

  • We provide liaisons for CHS’s Exceptional Children and TAG communities.

  • We fund Volunteer Scholarships to deserving seniors!

  • We show our appreciation to teachers and staff by hosting a welcome-back breakfast, holiday, teacher-of-the-year, and end-of-year luncheons.

  • We actively advocate on behalf of all students for legislation to help protect and educate all our kids.

Please join us!  You can help in one or more of the following ways:

A-1 Driving School, Inc. has partnered with Fulton County Public Schools!

A-1 has established this partnership to spread the importance of safe driving and, in turn, hope that it becomes contagious!  To encourage you to take this step with A-1, we have drastically reduced our prices to as low as $47.50 an hour (lowest prices you can find in Georgia!).

For ALL STUDENTS in Fulton County, A-1 offers $50 dollars OFF their already reduced fee of $399 which includes a package of 6 hours of driving and 30 hours of classroom instructions.  This package helps to fulfill requirements set forth by JOSHUA'S LAW.  ALL 16 to 17 year olds must fulfill these requirements in order to receive a Class D driver's license.

Our goal is to help Georgians become the Best Drivers in the Nation!  So get Driven with A-1!
